zapsats.ca provides paid Lightning Address registration, renewal state, public LNURL routes, NIP-05 responses, and brokered payment routing for self-hosted lnSwitchboard nodes.

What registration includes.

A paid invoice activates or renews exactly one handle on the configured zapsats.ca domain.
The default registration term is 365 days and the default price is 30,000 sats unless the Worker terms endpoint says otherwise.
After expiry, the default 45-day grace period reserves the handle but blocks incoming Lightning payments.
The user's LND node pubkey is the root ownership identity for the handle.
The user's own lnSwitchboard/LND instance creates receiving invoices; zapsats.ca does not receive LND macaroons or private keys.
Registration requires public inbound liquidity and working broker-to-Worker connectivity.
Raw contact emails and IP observations are not stored in plaintext by the Worker.
Service-owned domains such as zapsats.ca must be registered through the zapsats tool, not regular lnSwitchboard address CRUD.
